Mr. Clifton (Cliff) Franklin Peele, 76, resident of 208 Westridge Dr. died Monday at High Point Regional Hospital.
Mr. Peele was born Dec. 12, 1941 in Guilford County, a son of Grover F. and Callie Dunbar Peele. He had been a resident of this area all his life and was retired owner of Ber-Clif Paper and Supplies Inc. A veteran, Mr. Peele served in the U. S. Army, was a former member of High Point Sertoma Club and was of the Methodist faith. He was married to Wanda Farlow Peele who survives of the home.
Also surviving is one daughter, Stephanie Peele Philbin and husband Bill of High Point; three grandchildren, Callie, Taylor, and Cole Philbin; and one brother, Dennis Peele of Archdale. He was preceded in death by his siblings, Clarence Peele and sister Barbara Edwards.
A cryptside service will be conducted Wednesday at 11:00 a.m. in the Mausoleum Chapel of Floral Garden Park Cemetery with Rev. Harold Shives officiating. The family will receive friends Tuesday evening from 6:30 until 8:00 p.m. at the Cumby Family Funeral Service in High Point.
