Clifton Harrison Lamb, of High Point, North Carolina passed away on June 15, 2022, at the age of 84 at the Hospice Home in High Point. The son of William Harrison Lamb and Georgia Harmon Lamb, Clifton was born on November 13, 1937.
Clifton graduated from High Point Central High School and earned his AA degree in Business from UNC. He was an entrepreneur, having owned several businesses, which included, Lamb’s Construction, High Point Care Center, Lamb’s Realty and the Gun Vault.
Clifton was an avid outdoorsman and sportsman. He enjoyed hunting, fishing, travel, and boating. Among his other interests were motorcycling, go-kart and car racing, volunteer fireman, wrestling, and football. In addition, he was a gun enthusiast, gospel singer and loved cowboy movies.
A Nazarene, Clifton helped build many churches, among them Calvary Church of the Nazarene, Covenant Life Church of the Nazarene. Clifton was a supporter of the John Wesley Camp in High Point and a member of Hope Baptist Church.
Clifton was preceded in death by his parents; wife, Ronaldina Lamb; daughter, Veronica Jaye Lamb Wiley and a brother, Roger Lamb. He is survived by his children, Vonnie Jean Lamb Smith, Jane Marie Lamb Pegram (Tim), JoAnne Lamb Sealey and partner, Scott Murray and Terry Zan Lamb (Rachelle Pugh Lamb); fifteen grandchildren and 18 great grandchildren. He is also survived by life-long friend, Sharon Collins.
A funeral service will be held at 2:00 p.m. on June 18, 2022, at West Fairfield Baptist Church with Dr. Brian L. Powell, officiating. The family will receive guests from 1:00 p.m. until 1:45 p.m. The internment will be held at Floral Garden Park Cemetery following the service.
