HIGH POINT – Coleen Meredith Coe, 90, died Saturday, May 26, 2018, at Westchester Harbor.
She was born January 6, 1928, in Davidson County and was the daughter of the late Joseph Morris and Mintie Yokeley Meredith. She retired from Armored Protective Services and was a member of Greenwood Hills Wesleyan Church. She was an avid gardener and was known as “the best cook in the world.”
In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Zenith Clinard Coe, whom she married on November 2, 1946; and three sisters and five brothers.
Coleen is survived by three daughters, Sandi Puckett and her husband, Roger, and Carol Hinkle, both of High Point and Susan Rennell and her husband, Richard, of Cleveland, Ohio; six grandchildren, David Hinkle and his wife, Faith, Chris Hoots and his wife, Julie, Nick Jordan and his wife, Shelly, Meredith Kaplan and her husband, Dean, Brian Puckett and his wife, Kathryn, and Melissa Kisor and her husband, Chris; and nineteen great-grandchildren.
A celebration of life service will be held 6:30 PM Tuesday, May 29, 2018, in the Chapel of Cumby Family Funeral Service in High Point with the Rev. Roger Puckett officiating.
The family will receive friends immediately following the service and at other times will be at the home of Carol Hinkle.
