Craig Alan Arnold of High Point and Trinity passed away on Saturday February 23. He was born on August 1, 1965 to Stanley and Eula Arnold in High Point. He worked for Marsh Furniture until recent health issues caused him to be unable to work. Craig was well known as a small engine mechanic by “heart and hobby” and many people knew him as “The Lawnmower Man”. He was a friend to many and they returned his friendship many times over during his period of health problems. Thanks to all his family and friends who provided him support, love and care over the past months and to those friends who took him out for those special Saturday night evenings of just being with friends. He has missed being with his “Sheets Family”. He will be remembered as a caring friend and one who loved his family above all else. He will be remembered for having never complained or whined, when most of us would have. We are blessed to know that he is with others who loved him and will care for him going forward. He was preceded in death by his father Stanley Glenford Arnold and stepfather, J.R. Parker.
He is survived by his mother Eula Roark Arnold Parker; and one daughter Hailah Raye Arnold. Craig is also survived by his sister Linda Arnold Carlisle and her husband Jim of Greensboro; brothers, Charles Stanley Arnold and wife Kim of Trinity, Terry Glenford Arnold and wife Diane, of Oak Ridge. Also surviving are nephews; Daniel Carlisle of CA, Brandon Arnold of Trinity, Matthew Carlisle and wife Caroline of Raleigh, Max Arnold and wife Tiffany of High Point; and a niece Ashley Arnold of Wilmington.
A service celebrating Craig’s life will be held 11:00 am Tuesday February 26, 2019 at Cumby Family Funeral service High Point Chapel with Rev. Rick Shoemaker officiating. Interment will follow at Guilford Memorial Park in Greensboro. The family will receive friends Monday from 6 until 8 pm at the funeral home.
