High Point – Rev. Daniel Franklin Liner, 95, passed away Tuesday, January 26, 2021, at Wake Forest Baptist Health High Point Medical Center.

Born December 17, 1925, in the Cedar Grove community of Orange County, Frank was the son of the late Gaines Fitzhugh and Lettie Bell Thompson Liner. In addition to his parents, he was also preceded in death by his wife, Nancy Walker Liner, daughter, Deborah Pressley, sister, Virginia Cates, and brother, Gordon Liner. Frank was a veteran of the US Army having served in the Pacific and in Japan near the end of and following World War II. He was employed in the furniture industry most of his life before entering the ministry as an ordained minister in the 1990’s. Frank was a volunteer with High Point Regional Hospital for a number of years, and was an avid wood worker.

Frank is survived by two children, Sharon Cook, and husband, Thomas, and Craig Liner and wife, Gwyn; a son-in-law, Tony Pressley; four grandchildren, Stephanie Pressley, Hilari Liner, Emmalee Eide and husband, Todd, and Patrick Cook and wife, Roxanne; two great grandchildren, Averi and Corvin Eide; and seven siblings, Margaret Clark, Hugh Liner and wife, MaryEmily, Lois Pantazis, Jimmy Liner and wife, Doris, Helen Joseph, Gaines Liner and wife, Sherry, and David Liner and wife, Marilyn.

A memorial graveside service will be held 3:00 p.m., Sunday, October 3, 2021 at the Mars Hill Baptist Church Cemetery in Hillsborough, officiated by Rev. Eric Peacock.
