Darlyn Elaine (Pounders) Sandgren

Mrs. Darlyn Elaine Pounders Sandgren, 60, resident of Lexington, died April 18, 2018 at Forsyth Medical Center.

Mrs. Sandgren was born June 30, 1957, a daughter to Roy Wilbur and Dorothy Emily Luebberman Pounders.  She was a resident of North Carolina four years, moving to this area from Virginia.  She had a love for horses and worked in horse boarding and breeding while living in Virginia.

Surviving is her husband, John Joseph Sandgren of Lexington; her son, Jeremy Sandgren and wife Ashley of Bealeton, Virginia; and her brother, Dave Pounders of Virginia.

Funeral services will be held at 11:00 a.m. Friday in the chapel of the Cumby Family Funeral Service in High Point.  Interment will follow at Floral Garden Park Cemetery.  Visitation will be from 6:00-8:00 p.m. Thursday at the funeral home.
