David Marshall Hinkle

Mr. David Marshall Hinkle, 42, resident of Greensboro, died November 19, 2020 at Moses Cone Memorial Hospital in Greensboro.

David was born June 7, 1978 in High Point and had been a resident of this area all his life.  He attended Randleman High School where he was on the “A” honor roll, member of BETA club and also played football.  Later, he worked as a self-employed independent meat contractor and also volunteered with Helping Hands Food Ministry.  David loved deeply and was deeply loved.

Surviving is his father, J. Paul Hinkle III and wife Stephanie; mother, Renee Cruthis Vestal; two sons, James Brandon Hinkle and Kylar Lukas Hinkle; brother, Brandon Matthew Hinkle and wife Stacy; sisters, Amanda Leigh Deathridge and husband Greg, Katie Priest and Hannah Smith; two step brothers, Andrew Clodfelter and wife Brandy and Matthew Clodfelter and wife Jennifer; the mother of his children, Stephanie Walker; and several nieces and nephews.

A memorial service will be held at 2:00 p.m. on Saturday, November 21, in the chapel of the Cumby Family Funeral Service in Archdale with Rev. Roger Carmichael officiating.  Visitation will immediately follow the service at the funeral home.  Memorials may be directed to Caring Services at 102 Chestnut Dr. High Point, NC, 27262.
