David Paul Setzer

David P. Setzer, 82 of Trinity NC, formerly Barboursville WV, passed away on November 19th, 2023.

He was born on July 25th, 1941, in Johnson City, NY, to the late Howard and Helen Setzer. He was a US Army veteran and retired building contractor. He loved his family and woodworking.

He is survived by his wife Nancy Setzer and his sister Judy White both of Knoxville, TN; his daughters, Marsha and Harry Hizer of WV, Holly, and Bob Corolla of MD; Paige and Mitchell Hall of NC, Terry Roemer of NC, Paula and Eric Cummings of VA. Also surviving are 10 grandchildren and several great grandchildren.  He was proceeded in death by his brother, Jim Setzer, and a sister Carol Bauer.

A graveside service will be held 11 a.m. on Friday November 24th, at the National Cemetery in Salisbury, NC. Military honors will be accorded by the Randolph County Honor Guard.  A Celebration of Life visitation will be held from 3:00pm until 4:30pm, Saturday, November 25th, at the Wallace Funeral Home, in Barboursville, WV.

David P. Setzer will be deeply missed by family, friends, and all who knew him.  His memory will forever live in our hearts forever.
