David Lawrence Smith

Mr. David Lawrence Smith, 68, resident of High Point, died January 10, 2022 at High Point Medical Center.

He was born July 5, 1953 in Brunswick, Maine and lived the majority of his life in Woburn, Massachusetts.  Later, he moved to Pennsylvania and most recently High Point, North Carolina.  David was a software engineer (working in Paris) and also an author, having published a book called “Oscar”.  In his leisure time, he enjoyed traveling and loved to fish.

Surviving is his mother, Theresa Smith of Woburn, MA; five sisters, Karen Richards of Woburn, MA, Diane Carbone (Bob) of Woburn, MA, Brenda Rolli (Doug) of Bradenton, FL, Barbara Beaudin (Brad) of East Hampstead, NH and Lee D’Arcangelo (Paul) of York, ME; two brothers, Mark Smith (Michelle) of Las Vegas, NV and Jeff Smith (Jennifer) of Stafford, VA; his beloved partner, Lee Johnson; his beloved friends, Roy Johnson and John Peck; and many nieces and nephews.
