Dax Christopher Baker

Dax Christopher Baker, 20, of Surf City, NC passed away on January 4, 2018. Born August 17, 1997 in High Point, Dax was the son of Bryan Baker and Ginger Boger. He attended Phoenix Academy, Ledford Middle School and graduated from High Point Central High School. A kind and gentle soul with a poet’s heart, Dax loved the beach, savored literature, and enjoyed camping, fishing, and skateboarding. Above all, he utterly adored time spent with family and friends. He will be remembered as an outgoing friend to all whose fun-loving spirit, sense of humor and warm smile will be deeply missed.

Dax is survived by his parents Ginger Boger of Surf City and Bryan Baker (Nikki) of Greensboro and his sister Josephine Baker. In addition, he leaves behind maternal grandparents Gary “Pawpaw” and Diane “I love you, Nana” Boger of High Point; uncle Rodney Boger (Wendy Queen); paternal grandparents Susan “Gram” Bagley and Gary Sonday of New Bern; and Norman and Karen Baker of Perry, FL; along with uncles Eric Baker (Sarah), Dax Michael Baker (Anne) and aunt Hallie Richardson (Jeremy). As well as loving members of his family and many, many dear friends.

A Celebration of Life Memorial Service will be held on Sunday January 14 at 1:00 pm at Cumby Family Funeral Service High Point with visitation following the service.
