Deborah "Debbie" Lynn (Eddinger) Jordan

KERNERSVILLE – Deborah “Debbie” Lynn Eddinger Jordan, 70, died Saturday, September 17, 2022, at Forsyth Medical Center in Winston-Salem.

She was born May 2, 1952, in Thomasville and was the daughter of the late Franklin Dewey Eddinger and Sharman Elaine Everhart Flinchum. Debbie was a real estate broker with Deberry Realty and Keller Williams Realty before retiring from Price Realty. She had many interests and hobbies including camping, boat rides, beach trips, aerobics and swimming at the YMCA. She also collected porcelain dolls and pictures that captured family memories. Debbie’s greatest joy and passion was loving all her children and grandchildren. She attended Triad Church; her worn, tattered Bible reflected her spiritual nature and devoted prayers for her family and friends.

In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by son, Brian Wayne Hunt; and a sister, Sherree Elaine Eddinger.

Debbie is survived by her husband, John Frank Jordan, whom she married on April 25, 1984; children, Shawn Hunt (Debra) of Lexington and Jessica McDowell (Timothy) of Thomasville; nine grandchildren, Desara Hunt, Ariana Jordan, Sabriel Hunt, Anthony Pierzchala, Makala McDowell, Madison McDowell, Dolan McDowell, Leland McDowell and Lillian McDowell; brother, Max Flinchum of Archdale; sister, Heidi Hunt (Timothy) of Greesnboro; step-father, Walter Max Flinchum of Greensboro; and several nieces and nephews.

Funeral service celebrating Debbie’s life will be held 2:00 PM Wednesday, September 21, 2022, in the Chapel of Cumby Family Funeral Service in Archdale with Pastor Todd Howerton officiating. Burial will follow at Holly Hill Memorial Park Cemetery in Thomasville.

The family will receive loved ones and friends from 12:45 to 1:45 PM Wednesday at the funeral home prior to the service.
