ARCHDALE – Diana Gail Freeman Luckett, 37, passed away Tuesday, April 27, 2021 at her residence.
She was born November 1, 1983 in High Point and was the daughter of Ronnie Dean and Sandra Rozier Freeman. She was a graduate of Trinity High School and received her Bachelor’s degree from Appalachian State University. Diana worked several years as a special education teacher with Randolph County Schools. She was a devoted and faithful homemaker whose greatest joy was being a wife and mother looking after her men.
Diana is survived by her husband of eighteen years, Jay B. Luckett II; son, Waylon Luckett and his girlfriend, Jenna Phillips; parents, Ronnie and Sandy Freeman, all of Archdale; parents-in-law, Jay and Winnie Luckett of Sophia; two sisters-in-law, Kerry Beaman (Scott) of Archdale and Jessica Ward (Josh) of Thomasville; two nieces and two nephews; and her beloved dogs, Rebel and Wyatt.
Funeral service celebrating Diana’s life will be held 2:00 PM Tuesday, May 4, 2021 in the Chapel of Cumby Family Funeral Service in Archdale with Rev. Danny Graham officiating. Burial will follow at Floral Garden Memorial Park Cemetery.
The family will receive friends from 6:00 to 8:00 PM Monday, May 3, 2021 at the funeral home.
