Donald Rodney Witcher

Donald Rodney Witcher, 78, of High Point, passed away Monday, January 13, 2020.

Born October 23, 1941, in Guilford County, Donald was the son of the late Mack and Ruth Garrett Witcher. In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his sisters, Carol Witcher and Wanda Harrison. Donald grew up in Jamestown and graduated from Ragsdale High School. He owned and operated Don’s Furniture Sales.

Donald is survived by his wife of 58 years, M. Billie Witcher; daughter, Debbie Chriscoe and husband, Carlton; sons, Tim Witcher and Mike Witcher; grandchildren, Rebecca Thomas and husband, Kyle, and Caleb Chriscoe and wife, Theresa; six great grandchildren, Colt, Noah, Josie, Luke, Madelyn and Melissa; sister, Brenda Morton; and brothers, Randall Witcher and wife, Gail, and Bobby Witcher and wife, Wilma.

Funeral will be 2:00 p.m., Sunday, January 19, in the chapel of Cumby Family Funeral Service, in Archdale, officiated by Rev. Tim Huffman. Interment will follow in Floral Garden Memorial Park Cemetery. The family will receive friends Saturday night from 6 until 8 at the funeral home.
