Dorothy Lee (Bass) Holder

Mrs. Dorothy Lee Bass Holder, 86, of High Point, passed away Thursday, August 10, 2017, at High Point Regional Hospital.

Born October 21, 1930, in Whiteville, Dorothy was the daughter of the late Archie “Livie” and Annie Mae Nobles Bass. In addition to her parents, she was also preceded in death by her husband, Clyde C. Holder, and a brother, William C. Bass. Dorothy was a member of Redeeming Love Worship Center in High Point, and was retired from Wright Line Electromechanics. She enjoyed sewing, reading and cooking.

She is survived by two children, Ronnie Holder and wife, Deb, of Archdale, and Wanda Dezern and husband, Randy, of Colfax; three grandchildren, Danica Fletcher, Calin Fletcher and girlfriend, Melanie Clark, and Caleb Holder; a sister, Helen Holderfield, of Minooka, IL; and a brother, Howard Bass and wife, Gloria, of Brandon, FL.

Funeral will be 11:00 a.m. Tuesday, at the Redeeming Love Worship Center, in High Point, officiated by Rev. Allen Locklear. Interment will follow in Guilford Memorial Park Cemetery. The family will receive friends Monday night from 6 until 8 at Cumby Family Funeral Service in Archdale.
