Dr. Fareed Farah Al-Khori, 60, resident of High Point, died August 27, 2018 at High Point Regional Hospital.

Dr. Al-Khori was born July 5, 1958 in Syria, a son to Farah and Della Al-Khori.  He grew up in Syria and later attended medical school there.  He served a cardiology fellowship at Hahnemann University in Philadelphia, PA, and in 1999, moved to High Point where he was a member of the medical team at Carolina Cardiology.  In 2009 he married Sandy Comer Davis who survives of the residence.  Together, they attended The Summit Church in Kernersville.

Also surviving are his children, Harrison and Nora; his step-children, Hamilton and James; his sisters; Haniyah, Naeemah, Mary and Sameeha; and his brothers, Khalaf and Fares. In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by a brother, Adib Al-Khori.

Visitation will be held from 5:00-8:00 p.m. Wednesday at the Cumby Family Funeral Service in High Point.  A private graveside service will be held on Thursday at Floral Garden Park Cemetery.  Memorials may be directed to the Duke Adult Bone Marrow Transplant Clinic, P.O.
