Earl Maynard Collins

Mr. Earl Maynard Collins, 80, resident of Archdale, died February 15, 2020 at Hospice Home at High Point.

Mr. Collins was born September 5, 1939 in Hamlin County, Tennessee, a son to the late Floyd C. and Eula Johnson Collins.  He worked for the Hamlin County Road Department before moving to the Archdale area in 1983.  In 1962, he married the former Betty Lee Wilder who preceded him in death in 2011.  In addition to his wife and parents, he was preceded in death by a son, Mark; and three sisters, Janie, Eunice and Virgie.

Surviving are two daughters, Teresa Hazelwood of Tennessee and Sherry Collins of Archdale; a son, Wesley Collins of Archdale; five sisters, Charcie Fusselman, Faye Pack, Mary Cameron, Freda Carter and Brenda Ingram; a brother, Bobby Collins; five grandchildren, two great grandchildren, several cousins and many friends.

A private graveside service will be held at Guilford Memorial Park Cemetery in Greensboro.
