Earl Cecil "Mac" McHenry, Sr.

Earl Cecil “Mac” McHenry, Sr. 91, of Trinity went home to be with Jesus August 1, 2020 at Pine Ridge Health and Rehabilitation in Thomasville

He was born June 11, 1929 in Bristol, VA, the son of the late Patrick McHenry and the late Tennie Booher. He was a member of First Baptist Church of Archdale (Joy Community Fellowship). Mac was a corporal in the US Army during The Korean War. He retired from Carson’s Inc. with 41 years of service.

In addition to his parents Mac was preceded in death by his son, Roger Lee McHenry and grandson Roger Brian McHenry.

He is survived by his loving wife of 66 years, Margaret Louise Hancock McHenry; two children, Earl Cecil McHenry, Jr. and wife Joyce Lynn and Alesia Nance; sister, Ramona Floyd; four grandchildren, Chad McHenry, Holly Stone, Travis Nance and Alex Nance; three great-grandchildren.

A 2:00 p.m. graveside Service will be held Friday August 7, 2020 at Floral Garden Memorial Park, with Pastor Bob Ferguson officiating. Friends may pay their respects from 9:00 a.m.-5:00 p.m. Thursday August 6, 2020, at Cumby Family Funeral Service, Archdale.
