Mrs. Edna Mae Brown Hilliard, 99, of High Point, passed away Saturday, September 22, 2018 at the GrayBrier Nursing and Rehabilitation Center.
Born January 9, 1919, in Burlington, Edna was the daughter of the late Lonnie Edward and Emma Laura Phillips Brown. In addition to her parents, she was also preceded in death by her husband, Ted Hilliard; son, Ronnie Hilliard; step-mother, Carrie Brown; brothers, Stacy, Floyd, Woodrow, and Dallas Brown; and a sister, Clara Allen. Edna worked for High Point Paper Box.
She is survived by her daughter, Linda Cook and husband, Lem; three grandsons, Michael Hilliard, Timothy Hilliard, and Christopher Hilliard and wife, Jessica; and five great grandchildren, Michael, Christian, Jonathan, Lacey and Annie.
Graveside service will be 12:00 p.m. Tuesday, September 25th, 2018 at Floral Garden Memorial Park Cemetery, officiated by Rev. L. Clay Cook.
