She was preceded in death by:

Husband- Morris (Murray) Gerr in 1998

Mother- Pearl G. Hanna and Father- Raymond Hanna

Sisters- Ruth Wilber, Louise Twitty, Rhoda Packard, Nina LeVasseur, and Marge Roberts

Grandson- Christopher M. Singer

Best friend- Marge Willis

History of Service:

United States Navy 1944-1945- Waves service on the East Coast stateside.

Work History:

Interests:

Art- self-taught painter of natural scenes

Music- played piano

Sewing & quilting

Golf

Visiting with her sisters

Taking care of her precious grandchildren

Volunteer work:

High Point Hospital Guild

PTA when her children were in school

Her Personality was vivacious, fun loving and outgoing.  She was a caring mother and sister. She enjoyed life and the people in it, especially her husband, children, sisters, parents & friends.  She had a booming laugh and amazing smile. She was a loving, supportive wife and mother.  She volunteered with the High Point Hospital Guild for many years and helped

them with the High Point Furniture Market Catering Fundraiser for several years. She was President of the Oak Hollow Women’s Golf membership as well. Toward her last years she suffered from dementia. In spite of that, she continued to volunteer to help others in her facilities as best she could.
