THOMASVILLE – Ella Mae Wyatt Reeves, 80, died Monday, September 7, 2020, at Pelican Health in Thomasville.
She was born June 1, 1940 in Washington County, Virginia, and was the daughter of the late James Elmer and Rachel Rosenbaum Wyatt. She was a faithful and devoted wife, mother and homemaker.
In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Harold E. Reeves, Sr.; sister, Janie Lou Brimer; and brother, James Wyatt, Jr.
Ella is survived by her children, Harold E. Reeves, Jr. (Cynthia) of Sophia, Carla Rogers (Stanley) of Stanley, NC, Keith Reeves (Angie) of Kernersville and Amanda Darrah of Winston-Salem; step-daughter, Brenda Duffy (Ronnie) of Drakes Branch, VA; six grandchildren, Matthew Rogers (Kristy), Joshua Rogers, Chris Reeves (Aubrey), Jake Reeves, Bailey Reeves and Alyse Darrah; step-grandson, Jeremy Duffy; two great-grandchildren; two step-great-grandchildren; two sisters, Carrie Finley of Kernersville and Dottie Maness (Jimmy) of Winston-Salem; and several nieces and nephews.
Funeral service celebrating Ella’s life will be held 11:00 AM Friday, September 11, 2020, in the Chapel of Cumby Family Funeral Service in Archdale with Pastor Jason Johnson officiating. Burial will follow at Floral Garden Memorial Park Cemetery.
The family will receive friends from 6:00 to 8:00 PM Thursday, September 10, 2020, at the funeral home.
