HIGH POINT - Emma Madonna Taylor Scott, 86, died Wednesday, May 13, 2020, at Piedmont Christian Home.
She was born January 28, 1934, in Portersville, Ohio, and was the daughter of the late Phillip and Ruth Biggum Taylor. Madonna was of the Baptist faith and had formerly been a member of East Dayton Baptist Church in Dayton, Ohio.
In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by two sisters.
She is survived by three sons, Jeffrey K. Scott of Las Tunas, California, Perry James Scott of Asheboro and Wade Robert Scott of Hendersonville.
Funeral service celebrating Madonna’s life will be held 11:00 AM Tuesday, May 19, 2020, in the Chapel of Cumby Family Funeral Service in Archdale. Burial will follow at Floral Garden Memorial Park Cemetery.
The family will speak with friends from 10:00 to 10:45 AM Tuesday at the funeral home prior to the service. Due to the current COVID-19 pandemic, all gatherings are limited to fifty people.
