Eugene Haines Bohi

Eugene Haines Bohi, born April 14, 1931, died on Wednesday, November 14, 2018.  He was a football player and graduate of the University of Michigan and a veteran of the U.S. Army.  A High Point resident since 1973, Gene retired from radio and television broadcasting and was active in the local Rotary Club of High Point, the Chamber of Commerce and the United Way.

Gene is survived by his wife of 52 years, Mary Ann Sheahen; his sons, Philip (Teena) and Eric (Julie); and his grandson, Shea.

A Memorial Service will be held at 2:00p.m. on Friday, November 16, 2018, at Wesley Memorial United Methodist Church, 1225 Chestnut Drive, High Point, NC 27262, with Reverend Jeff Patterson officiating.  The family will receive friends following the service in the Asbury Room.

In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to Hospice of the Piedmont, 1801 Westchester Drive, High Point, NC 27262, or Wesley Memorial United Methodist Church.
