Evelyn Proctor

HIGH POINT-Evelyn Proctor, 88, passed away on Sunday, February 2, 2020.

She was born on July 3, 1931 in Guilford County, to the late Arch and Bessie Slack Marshburn. A resident of this area all her life, she was homemaker and she attended Archdale First Church of God. Evelyn enjoyed walking, shopping and spending time with her family. She was a loving mother, grandmother and great grandmother, and will be dearly missed. In addition to her parents preceding her in death were her husband, Coy Proctor and her brothers, Tom Marshburn and Vernon Marshburn.

She is survived by her children, Vicki Smith and her husband, R.J., Tesi Nance and her husband, Chris, Tim Proctor and his wife, Diane, Clayton Proctor and his wife, Lisa; her grandchildren, Timothy Proctor, Nathaniel Proctor, Jessica Albert and her husband, Mark  Brianna Smith, Gretchen Proctor, Brandon Proctor, Zachary Thompson and Dylan Thompson; her great grandchildren, Kelsey Albert, Katlyn Albert and Annaleigh Albert.

A service to celebrate Evelyn’s life will be held on Thursday morning, February 6, at 11 o’clock, at Cumby Family Funeral Service, Archdale, with Pastor Mark Albert officiating. Her family will receive friends on Thursday morning, from 9:45 until 10:45 at the funeral home.
