HIGH POINT-Billie “Farrell” Grady II, 48, passed away on Thursday, May 10, 2018.
He was born on October 23, 1969 in High Point, son of Bill Grady, and had been a resident of this area all of his life. He was a 1988 graduate of Southern Guilford High School and his life was devoted to his two blessed and beautiful children. His sisters enjoyed him as a loving brother and friend. He worked for CaroCon for 10 years where his co-workers said he had always had a positive personality, and was an excellent team member. Farrell enjoyed riding motorcycles; in his younger years he competed in Motocross, and later he enjoyed riding his Harley Davidson. He had a creative mind and very dexterous hands. He was a member of Fairfield United Methodist Church.
He is survived by his children, Nicole and Mason Grady; his father, Reverend Bill Grady; his sisters, Billie Karen Walker and her husband, Paul, Temple Cantrell and her husband, Jay; his nephew, James Cantrell; his nieces, Casey Cantrell, and Halie Anna Duncan and her husband, Nathan, and special friends to the family, Gary and Susan Walker and Mary L. Brock.
A service to celebrate Farrell’s life will be held on Tuesday afternoon, May 15th, at 1 o’clock, in the chapel of Cumby Family Funeral Service in Archdale, with Reverend Bill Grady officiating. Interment will follow in Floral Garden Memorial Park Cemetery. His family will receive friends on Monday, May 14th, from 6 until 8 pm at the funeral home.
