Gail Jeanette Wheatley Brown, 74, of High Point, passed away peacefully at her residence on Tuesday, April 17, 2018.
Gail was born in West Chester Pennsylvania, September 20, 1943 to the late Talmage Lee Wheatley and Gladys Viola Richardson Wheatley. She was also preceded in death by a sister; Jeanne Bonsall.
Gail main passion in her life was to care for her family. She was a member of Community Bible Church, and was active in her church, anchored in her strong Christian faith. She was known to be a prayer warrior, and loved to read her bible and listen to gospel music. Gail also crocheted, making baby dresses for the girls, sweater sets for the boys, baby blankets and newborn caps. She will be missed for the influence she had in many lives.
Those who will cherish her memory are her husband of 52 years, Jerry Brown, Her son; Brian Brown and wife, Melissa of High Point, her daughters; Karen Hall and husband Larry of High Point, Teresa Hodges and husband, Jeff of Winston-Salem, Brothers; Wayne Wheatley and wife, Ruth Amy of Pennsylvania, John Wheatley and wife, Janet of Pennsylvania, sisters; Lorraine Riale of Florida, Paula Blevins of Sparta and her two precious grandchildren; Grace Hall, Nathaniel Brown.
A service to remember Gail will be held 1:00 p.m. on Saturday, April 21, 2018 at New Covenant Church, 10420 NC Hwy. 18, Ennice, North Carolina . Pastor Phil Edwards and Rev. Jack Brown will officiate the service with burial following in the church cemetery.
The family will receive friends 12:00 until 12:45 p.m. before the service at the church.
