George Robert Wesley Hunt

THOMASVILLE – George Robert Wesley Hunt, 77, died Thursday, January 7, 2021 at High Point Medical Center.

He was born May 27, 1943 in Providence, Rhode Island and was the son of the late Harold and Mary Blair Hunt. George retired from the Rhode Island Public Schools where he worked as a high school English teacher for many years.

George is survived by his wife of twenty-three years, Kay Bullington Hunt; children, Brenden Hunt (Tiffany) of Los Cruces, New Mexico and Alaina Spencer (Jeff) of Hilton Head Island, South Carolina; stepdaughters, Karmen Brooks (Eric) of Jacksonville, Florida and Kristen Graber (Nat) of Vermont; and nine grandchildren.

A private family memorial service will be held at a later date.
