Georgia Kathy Spivey

TRINITY-Georgia Kathy Spivey, 69, went home to be with her Lord and Savior on Monday, May 18, 2020.

She was born on April 29, 1951 in Wyoming County, WVA, daughter of the late Wayne and Pansy Short England. A resident of the Trinity area most of her life, she was retired from the furniture industry and was a member of Cloverdale Baptist Church; where she worked with the youth group, vacation bible school, and anything involving the children. Kathy enjoyed working in her flowers, going to the beach, cooking and baking; especially making cakes for church members. She was a loving wife, mother, sister, grandmother, great grandmother and aunt,and will be dearly missed. In addition to her parents, preceding her in death were a son, Marcus Cleary and a number of brothers and sisters.

She is survived by her husband of 17 years; Johnnie D. Spivey, Sr., her children, Angela Milan and her husband, Jimmy, Pam Spivey, Johnnie Spivey, Jr. and his wife Loren, James Cleary, Tommy Cleary and his wife, Betty Jean; her brother, Larry England; 7 grandchildren, 7 great grandchildren and a number of nieces and nephews. 

A service to celebrate Kathy’s life will be private.
