Gerald "Jerry" Mark Swartzberg

Gerald “Jerry” Swartzberg  passed away unexpectedly on Tuesday June 19, 2018 at his home.

Jerry is survived by his mother, Sue Swartzberg of Greensboro, a sister, Ellen McIntyre (Larry) of High Point, nephews Brent McIntyre (Amanda) of Gastonia NC, Chris McIntyre (Heather) of Charlotte NC, Doug McIntyre (Gabby) of Midland Texas and a niece Allison Peterson (Jonathan) of Winston Salem,. He was preceded in death by his father Richard Swartzberg

Jerry graduated from NC State University with a degree in English. He then attended UNC-Chapel Hill where he earned a Juris Doctorate in Law. He worked as an Assistant District Attorney in several North Carolina counties before retiring to Winston Salem.

Jerry loved spending time with family and friends, playing the guitar, singing, researching history facts and the Beatles.

A memorial service will be held at 1:30 Friday at the Cumby Chapel in High Point.  In lieu of flowers, please contribute to a charity of your choice.
