Geraldine Heath Nunn

TRINITY-Geraldine Heath Nunn, 78, passed away Sunday, October 27, 2019.

She was born on October 17, 1941, in McDowell County, WVA, to the late Thomas Guy and Crystal Taylor Heath. A resident of this area most of her life. She was a retired Hairdresser; and formerly owned and operated Stylette Boutique for 45 years. She was a member of Southside Baptist Church in Thomasville, and attended Archdale United Methodist Church. Geraldine enjoyed gardening, canning and listening to gospel and bluegrass music. Her true love and passion was spending time with her family; especially her grandchildren and her great grandson. She was a loving mother, sister, grandmother and great grandmother, and will be dearly missed. In addition to her parents, preceding her in death husband, Bobby Wayne Nunn, her brothers, Don Heath, Bob Heath, Marvin Heath, Jim Heath and Ronnie Heath; a sister, Mary Lou McKenzie.

She is survived by her three children, Steve Nunn and his wife, Christy, Mark Nunn and his wife, Angie, Cyenthia Nunn Hudson and her husband, Jerry; her sisters, Sandra Gwynn and Patricia Martin. Also surviving are her grandchildren, Jonathan Ellis Nunn, Jeremy Wayne Nunn, Stephen Craig Nunn, Nicholas Hughes Nunn, Kaleb Michael Barker, Morgan Faith Nunn, Cody Allen Barker, Mary Elizabeth Hudson, Noah Thomas Hudson, Jacob Roads Hudson, and her great grandson, Noah Craig Nunn.

A service to celebrate Geraldine’s life will be held on Saturday afternoon, November 2, at 2 o’clock, at Archdale United Methodist Church, with Reverend Allan Van Meter officiating. The committal service will follow at Floral Garden Memorial Park Cemetery. Her family will receive friends on Friday evening, November 1, from 6:30 until 8:30, at Cumby Family Funeral Service, Archdale.
