Glenn Crumpler
HIGH POINT – Glenn Lee Crumpler, 77, died Wednesday, December 12, 2018, at his residence.
He was born July 19, 1941, in Sampson County and was the son of the late Gilbert Lee and Sudie Mae Howard Crumpler. He was a retired upholster with Silver Craft and Clyde Pearson Furniture. Glenn loved life and his family as well as old cars, especially his 1957 Chevrolet.
Glenn is survived by his wife, Evelyn Shepard Crumpler, whom he married on July 21, 1961; a daughter, Denise Small (Terry) of Thomasville; two grandsons, Bobby Small (Amy) of Winston-Salem and Zac Small (Kayle Rae Lilly) of Thomasville; three great-grandchildren, Holly Small, Hannah Small and River Glenn Small; sister-in-law, Zella Kimball (Arnold) of Archdale; his beloved dog, Gracie Mae; and special family friend, Angie Rich of Denton.
Funeral service celebrating Glenn’s life will be held 11:00 AM Saturday, December 15, 2018, with the Rev. Tim Huffman officiating. Burial will follow at Floral Garden Memorial Park Cemetery.
The family will receive friends from 9:45 to 10:45 AM Saturday at the funeral home prior to the service.
