Mr. Glenn Edward Strickland

Glenn Edward “Buck” Strickland 75 of High Point died Saturday at Wake Forest University Baptist Medical Center.  Born December 28, 1935 in Guilford County, he is a son of the late Howard Taft Strickland and Minnie Lee Hunsucker Strickland.  He was a member of the Salvation Army Church and band and a former Boy Scout Master. In addition to his parents Mr. Strickland was preceded in death by his wife Bonnie Booe Strickland.
Mr. Strickland is survived by two children, Shelby Strickland of High Point, Cathy Nguyen of the home, four grandchildren; Chris Strickland and wife Amanda, Shana Nguyen, Justin Nguyen and Hannah Nguyen.  He is also survived by three great grandchildren; Monica Strickland, Katherine Strickland and Nathan Strickland and a sister Shirley Young of Thomasville.
Funeral services for Mr. Strickland will be held 1 pm Friday in the Chapel Mausoleum at Floral Garden Memorial Park Cemetery.  The family will greet friends at the mausoleum one hour prior to the service.
