Shelby and Cathy,

I'm keeping you both close in my thoughts and prayers. I have thought often of those good old days when we were children and the good times we had when we would visit your home and share dinner and fellowship as good friends. I pray our Lord will comfort you and give you strength in the days to come, and remember that your Dad is in his heavenly home with your Mom, they are both healthy and happy and joyful in their Lord's presence, and that you will see them both again someday. May God bless and keep you in your time of mourning. I love you both, dear friends.

Love and prayers,
Pam (Register) Driggers

Shelby and Cathy,
You're in our thoughts and prayers. Lacy and I have reminisced about our good times with Buck and Bonnie and y'all this week. The great times we had together eating your Mom's barbeque chicken and just having a wonderful time as friends. We miss both Bonnie and Buck but we will always treasure the friendship we shared. May God comfort you and strengthen you as you bid your final farewell to Buck. May the precious memories sustain you in the days ahead.

Blessings,
Lacy and Rhonda Register

Growing up you were always there, each and every day showing me that you cared. Spoiling me every chance you had, letting me know that it was okay to be sad. each moment we spent together will be special to me forever. Days spent shopping and mowing were as precious as when it was snowing. My best memories are those at the time of the year, when we decorated for christmas with care. The family would gather to feast, which now happens the least.Christmas magic soared through the air,While you taught me how to share. For years i kept you in my sight, now all i can do is hold the memories tight. The day your soul drifted high, my heart knew and all i could do was cry. A half hour later, I found my mom in a state of distress, When my eyes met hers, we both broke down in tears. I have spent years trying to put it in my past,And now i have come to prove with it at last. A part of my heart left with you, the part that told me what to do.I became confused and lost, I went to church were god i sought. God told me something i did not know, I have your hand on my shoulder telling me where to go. I once thought the part of me that went with you, was lost forever and would not be put to good use. I now realize that i never lost part of my soul, I simply shared it with you to keep us whole. You watched over me while you were here. And now i know that you will watch over me from up there. Grandpa, to me you meant the world, now with you i can live in the world.A sight at christmas and peace is a dove, you taught me to have peace and one must love. Therefore with love one can have peace.Together we will indulge in life.My love for you grandpa will soon project, Into the love you will help me use to protect.
In memory of my paw paw

Faithful worker, family first, laid back, so laid back he was a very slooooooow driver, barely going the speed limit (especially in his corvair!). He married my oldest sister when they were both very very young...he was always around as far back as I can remember. Together they sang "mountain music" at home and at church. I also recall that he "picked" the guitar, liked his coke hot and his coffee cold!
Even though I do not live in High Point anymore and do not see Buck's immediate family anymore, we will miss knowing that we can't see him or Bonnie in the home they shared together for so many years.
God bless his family as they grieve over their loss. I know that they will miss him because he was much loved.

The Broken Chain

We Little Knew That Morning That God Was Going To Call Your Name In Life We Loved
You Dearly In Death We Do The Same. It Broke Our Hearts To Lose You You Did Not Go Alone For Part Of Us Went With You The Day God Called You Home. You Left Us
Peaceful Memories Your Love Is Still Our Guide And Though We Cannnot See You You Are Always At Our Side. Our Family Chain Is Broken And Nothing Seems The Same But
As God Calls Us One By One The Chain Will Link Again.

We Miss You Buck
