Harold Richard "Rick" Creasman

TRINITY – Harold Richard “Rick” Creasman, 72, went home to be with his Lord and Savior Tuesday, August 4, 2020, at Wake Forest Baptist Hospital in Winston-Salem.

He was born May 29, 1948, in High Point and was the son of the late Oscar Harold and Julia Brooks Creasman. He was a member of Hope Baptist Church in Sophia where he worked as grounds and maintenance supervisor and was teacher of the Adult Sunday School Class. He was also a former member of Allendale Baptist Church in High Point. Rick worked many years as parts manager with Nissan dealerships and worked in home repair with House Doctors for twelve years. He was an automobile enthusiast and building model cars was his joy. He had received several awards for his model cars, taught model car classes and attended several conventions. Rick also enjoyed gardening and woodworking.

Rick is survived by his wife of fifty-three years, Louise Austin Creasman; children, Mark Creasman of High Point and Candi Miller (Brian) of Archdale; three grandchildren, Pierson Creasman, Michael Miller and Morgan Hooker (Mason); and brother, Terry Creasman (Diane) of Hickory.

Funeral service celebrating Rick’s life will be held 11:00 AM Friday at the outdoor shelter of Hope Baptist Church in Sophia with Pastor Steve McSwain and Rev. Mike Brooks officiating. Friends may also attend in their cars listening to the service on 101.7 FM. Burial will follow at Hope Baptist Church Cemetery at Guil-Rand.

The family will receive friends from 10:00 to 10:45 AM Friday at the church shelter prior to the service.
