Harvie Lee Bristow, 75, passed away on Friday, August 30, 2019.
He was born on April 17, 1944 in High Point, to the late Clyde and Larcie Childress Bristow. A resident of this area all his life, he was a lifelong member of Highland United Methodist Church and was retired from the furniture industry. Harvie enjoyed fishing, hunting, painting, dancing, and spending time with his friends and family. He was a loving uncle and friend, and will be missed dearly. In addition to his parents, preceding him in death were his sister, Mary Alice Wright and his brother in-law, Vernon “John L.” Wright.
He is survived by his nephew, Keith Wright (Gina); his nieces, Traci Lynn Snyder (Dennis), and Ginger Leigh Holt; his great nieces, Morgan, Lyric, Lexi, Samantha and Kylie, and his girlfriend, Barbara Schram.
A service to celebrate Harvie’s life will be held on Wednesday morning, September 4, at 11 o’clock, in the chapel of Cumby Family Funeral Service, Archdale, with Pastor Clarinda E. Crawford officiating. A committal service will follow at Floral Garden Memorial Park Cemetery. His family will receive friends Wednesday morning from 9:45 until 10:45, at the funeral home.
