Hazel Moxley Watson

Hazel Moxley Watson, 89, of High Point, passed away at her residence October 15, 2018.

She was born October 27, 1928, in Yadkin County to the late Newell and Lilly Moxley.  Hazel worked for Leonard’s Drug Store and Fievet Pharmacy over 30 years before retiring due to health problems.  She was a member of Oak View Baptist Church for many years and served in the nursery and was a current member of Westchester Baptist Church.  Hazel enjoyed walking and spreading inspirational words to others.  On November 16, 1946, she married Roy Watson and enjoyed over 58 years together.  She was preceded in death by her husband; her son, David; her parents; and brother.

Surviving are her son, Keith and wife India; granddaughters, Kimberly, Erin Bennett and her husband James; two great grandchildren; and several nieces and nephews.

A graveside service will be held at 2pm on Friday, October 19, 2018, at Floral Garden Park Cemetery in High Point with Rev. Eric Peacock officiating.  No visitation is planned.
