Helen (Hooper) Anderson

Helen Hooper Anderson, 84, of High Point, passed away peacefully December 30th 2019 at River Landing in Sandy Ridge. Helen was born to the late Ernest & Dorothy Hooper, December 28th, 1935, in Cincinnati, Ohio. Helen graduated from East Knox High school in Knoxville, TN and earned her a BA in Education from the University of Tennessee. She was married the late Robert (Bob) Anderson and was a long time resident of High Point and they enjoyed spending time together at Sunset Beach, NC. Helen is survived by her brother Richard Hooper of Houston, TX. She is also survived by her sons, Scott Anderson (Debbie), of Baton Rouge, LA and Patrick Anderson (Angela) of High Point, NC, two granddaughters, Leah Anderson and Madeline Anderson and two step grandsons Michael Wolford and Ted Wolford. Helen was predeceased by her loving husband in 1992. A private ceremony was held by the family. Memorial contributions can be made to ARC of High Point, 153 East Bellevue Drive, High Point, NC 27265
