Helen Bell Lambeth of Archdale NC passed away on April 11, 2018, in Greensboro NC after a lengthy illness.
Helen Patricia Bell was born to Thomas Buford and Violet Stewart Bell on October 6, 1935, in Surry County NC. She graduated from Pilot Mountain High School and spent her working life first in manufacturing and later in health care. Her greatest joys in life were her faith, her family and friendships, and her beloved pets.
Helen was predeceased by her parents; a sister, Betty Jean Bell Lynch; a grandnephew, Samuel Helms; and husbands Charles Cook, Roy Stanley, and Douglas Auman. She was married briefly to Sherrill Lambeth.
She is survived by a brother, Thomas Wayne Bell, of SC; a sister, Doris Bell, of CO; a niece, Janice Helms, of SC; nephews David Lynch of Raleigh NC, Garry and Kent Lynch of Charlotte NC; a grandniece, Karen (Brian) Callihan, of SC; and a great-grandnephew, Trevor Callihan.
A service to celebrate Helen’s life will be held on Tuesday, April 17, at 1 pm, at Ashland Street Baptist Church, 515 Ashland St, Archdale, NC 27263. Pastor Nick Childs will officiate. Her family will receive friends one hour prior to the service at the church. Interment will follow at Bessie's Chapel Baptist Church Cemetery, 622 Bessie’s Chapel Church Rd, Elkin, NC.
Helen requested no flowers. In lieu of flowers memorials may be made to the charity of the donor’s choice.
