Hettie Mable (Reynolds) Horne

Mrs. Hettie Mable Reynolds Horne, 89, passed away Monday, May 20, 2019.

Born February 24, 1930, in Abington, VA, Hettie was the daughter of the late Ross and Pansy Kestner Reynolds. In addition to her parents, she was also preceded in death by her husband, Emmett William Horne, and 10 siblings. Hettie was retired from Southeastern Foam and Rubber, and attended New Grace Baptist Church in Thomasville. She enjoyed sewing and tending to her flowers and garden.

Hettie is survived by three children, Joyce Higgins, of Trinity, Diane Albright and husband, Roger, of Thomasville, and Michael Horne and wife, Tammy, of Thomasville; five grandchildren, Melanie Higgins, Stephanie Griffith, Tanya Hughes and husband, Mark, Stormi Whitman and husband, Toby, and Crystal Horne; two great granddaughters, Christina and Rebecca Hughes; and a sister, Lora Bell Miller, of Sandy Ridge.

Funeral will be 12:00 p.m., Thursday, May 23rd, in the chapel of Cumby Family Funeral Service in Archdale, officiated by Rev. Donnie Lunsford. Interment will follow in Holly Hill Cemetery. The family will receive friends prior to the service from 11:00 – 11:45.
