TRINITY – Jacqueline “Jackie” Coleman Wagoner, 71, died Tuesday, April 27, 2021 at Wake Forest Baptist Hospital in Winston-Salem.
She was born September 13, 1949 in Alleghany County and was the daughter of the late Vester Ellis and Pearl Vaughn Coleman. She was a faithful and devoted homemaker whose greatest joy was being a wife, mother, Memaw and caretaker for her family. Jackie also enjoyed singing gospel music.
In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by sisters, Vena Harrison and Doris White; and brother, Artie Coleman.
Jackie is survived by her husband, Robert Lee Wagoner, whom she married on March 4, 1968; daughters, Sonya Routh (Larry) of Randleman and Ashleigh Kiziah (Jason) of Trinity; son, Rodney Wagoner (Cheryl) of Trinity; seven grandchildren, Rebekah White, Caitlyn White, Jacob Kiziah, Carmen Kiziah, Gavin Kiziah, Millie Wagoner and Noah Wagoner; three sisters, Eula Hall of Thomasville, Norma Auman (Gale) of Trinity and Kathy Honeycutt of High Point; and several nieces and nephews.
Funeral service celebrating Jackie’s life will be held 2:00 PM Saturday, May 1, 2021 at Hope Baptist Church in Sophia with Rev. Steve McSwain and Rev. Donnie Lunsford officiating. Burial will follow at Shady Grove Baptist Church Cemetery in Archdale.
The family will receive friends from 6:00 to 8:00 PM Friday, April 30, 2021 at Cumby Family Funeral Service in Archdale.
