James Allen Key

James Allen Key, 58, of High Point, passed away Sunday, March 19, 2023, at his home.

Born, June 22, 1964 in Forsyth County, he was the son of the late James Edgar Key and the late Shirley Carole Inman Key. He was a hardworking man, and spent many years working as cushion stuffer in the furniture manufacturing industry. James enjoyed listening to country music and the King of Rock and Roll, Elvis Presley. He was a simple, fun-loving person; but most of all he was a proud Dad and Grandfather. He loved his family and friends and would always help those who needed it. James was of the Baptist faith.

In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his son, Josh Inman; sisters, Linda and Margie; and brother, Ronnie.

Left to cherish his memory are his wife, Patsy Gaddis Key, daughters, Elizabeth Ann Key, Kimberly Wright, Samantha Young; step-son, DJ Hale; brother, Jimmy Ray Key; Teresa Pennell; and two grandchildren, Kailey and Zachary.
