Mr James Ray Kimsey

James Ray Kimsey, 87 passed away on Friday November 6. 2014 At Hospice home at High Point.
Born on April 27, 1927 in Guilford County to Silas Kimsey and Mamie Shuler Kimsey. He is preceded in death by his parents and also sisters; Vista Robertson, Silene Baker, brothers; Talmer, Harold, Arnold and Richard Kimsey.
James was of the Methodist faith and was a member of Spring Hill United Methodist Church. He served his country during WWll in the Pacific Theater on the Island of Guam, was an avid beekeeper and craftsman, also an adoring Grandfather.
James is survived by his loving wife of 63years Peggy Cranford Kimsey of the home, son Craig Kimsey of Greensboro, sister Blanche Nicholson and her husband Eugene of Whitsett and Granddaughter Katherine Kimsey.
The family will receive friends from 3:00 pm to 4:00 PM on Sunday November 9, 2014 at Spring Hill United Methodist Church in High Point followed by a memorial service at 4:00 Pm with Reverend Donna Friddle officiating.
