James "Jim" Falk

LEXINGTON- James “Jim” Milton Falk, 64, entered into eternal rest on Thursday, September 27^th, 2018.

He was born on February 9, 1954 in Milwaukee, Wisconsin, to Milton and Marietta Ryan Falk. He retired from Oakhurst Textiles in Greensboro, as Vice President of Operations.  Jim was an avid Packers fan, a “Cheesehead”, and he enjoyed spending time with his family; especially his grandchildren.  He was a loving son, husband, father, brother, grandfather and uncle, and will be dearly missed. He was preceded in death by his father; a sister, Joan Durr of Milwaukee, WI and by an infant brother. On June 3^rd, 2004, he was married to the former Sherry Hayes, she survives of the home.

Also surviving are his children, Jennifer Duvall and her husband, Mark of Charlotte, NC; Kristina Brown and her husband, Richard of Fuquay-Varina, NC; his step daughters, Jennifer Woodstock and her husband, Matthew of Raleigh, NC; Emily Zimmerman and her husband, Colby of Lexington, NC; his mother, Marietta Ryan Falk of Milwaukee, WI; his brother, Jerry Falk and his wife, Gayle of West Allis, WI; his sisters, Janice Wichert and her husband, Paul of Waukesha, WI; and Jean Larson of Milwaukee, WI; his grandchildren, Ryleigh, Caleb, Connor, Hudson, Aubrey and Parker; several nieces and nephews.

A service to celebrate Jim’s Life will be held on Tuesday afternoon, October 2^nd, at 2 o’clock, in the chapel of Cumby Family Funeral Service in Archdale, with Reverend Harold Shives officiating. His family will receive friends Tuesday afternoon from 12:45 until 1:45 at the funeral home, and other times at the home.
