James "Jim" William Stapel

TRINITY – James “Jim” William Stapel, 66, died Friday, May 14, 2021 at his residence.

He was born August 1, 1954 in Concord, Massachusetts and was the son of the late Wilho Matti and Phyllis Beebe Stapel. He was a U.S. Army veteran and worked many years in manufacturing and later as a plumber.

Jim is survived by his sons, Jacob Stapel (Jennifer) of Maine and Jason Stapel (Kelly) of Massachusetts; sisters, Lois Pekkala of New Hampshire and Diane O’Reilly of North Carolina; brothers, Tom Stapel (Beverly) of Vermont and Ronald Stapel (Linda) of New Hampshire; seven grandchildren; and several nieces and nephews, including John Pekkala of Trinity.

A private family service will be held at a later date.
