James "Jimmy" Joseph Nossar, Jr.

Mr. James Joseph Nossar, Jr., 59, passed away Thursday, December 06, 2018 at Pennybyrn at Maryfield.

Born August 12, 1959, in Charlotte, Jimmy was the son of the late James Joseph Nossar, Sr. and Betty Chaffin Nossar. Jimmy was active in his church where he coached Tee Ball.  He worked as the Retail Director for Action Food Sales. Jimmy loved going on cruises, listening to and discussing music, and more than anything, was an avid and accomplished golfer.

Jimmy is survived by his two sisters and their husbands, Nancy and Herb Lewis, of High Point, and Linda Nossar and Dave Apperson, of Winston-Salem; a niece, Robin Danowski, her husband, Sean, and their children, Gavin, Stella and Wyatt; and his best friend, who was like a brother, Jim Brazell.

The family will host a reception to celebrate Jimmy’s life on Saturday afternoon, December 29th, 2018, from 2 until 4, in the Life Tribute Center of Cumby Family Funeral Service, in High Point.

The family has deep gratitude of the entire staff of Pennybyrn at Maryfield for their loving care of Jimmy, and requests that in lieu of flower, memorials be directed to the Resident Care Fund at Pennybyrn, 109 Penny Rd. High Point, NC 27260.
