Mr. James Lee “Rolo” Spainhour, 61, of Trinity, passed away Tuesday, July 10, 2018, at the Randolph Health & Rehabilitation Center in Asheboro.
Born September 14, 1956, in Guilford County, James was the son of the late Raymond Spainhour and Gertrude Stultz Spainhour. In addition to his parents, he was also preceded in death by his step-mother, Grace Spainhour, and his grandson, Elijah Hagee. James worked for Mickey Truck Body, and attended Shady Grove Baptist Church. He was an avid golfer, and enjoyed hunting and fishing.
He is survived by his children, Josh Spainhour and wife, Shayla, and Ashlee Hagee and husband, Daniel; grandchildren, Olivia, Bryce and Aiden; three brothers, Greg Spainhour and wife, Ginny, Jeff Spainhour and wife, Sandy, and Dale Spainhour; a sister, Susan McBride and husband, Harrison; his former wife, Sharon Elliott; and several nieces and nephews.
A memorial service to celebrate his life will be 10:00 a.m. Saturday, July 14, 2018, in the chapel of Cumby Family Funeral Service in Archdale, officiated by Rev. Bobby Blackburn. The family will receive friends following the service.
