Jane F. Smith

WALLBURG- Jane F. Smith, 90, passed away on Sunday, February 2, 2020.

She was born on June 17, 1929 in Horry County, SC, to the late Clyde and Sara Small Floyd. A resident of this area most of her life, she was a former member of Mitchell’s Grove United Methodist Church and later joined Wallburg Baptist Church. Jane enjoyed traveling; especially to Hawaii and Alaska, and selling Avon. Her true love and passion was spending time with her family. She was a loving mother, grandmother and great grandmother and will be dearly missed.  In addition to her parents, preceding her in death were her first husband, Clyde McDonald, 3 sisters and 2 brothers.

She is survived by her children, Wayne McDonald and his wife, Wendy, Joyce Burns and her husband, Larry; her grandchildren, Lori Mashburn and her husband, Ernie, Ashley McGee, Todd Burns, Jason McDonald and Maggie McDonald and eight great grandchildren.

A service to celebrate Jane’s life will be held on Saturday morning, February 8, at 11 o’clock, from the graveside, at Mitchell’s Grove United Methodist Church Cemetery, with Pastor Larry Burns officiating. Her family will see friends following the service at the residence of her son, Wayne McDonald.
