TRINITY- Jimmy Myrick, 90, entered into eternal rest on Monday, November 15, 2021.
He was born on December 20, 1930 in Birmingham, Al, a son of the late Thurman and Lillie Fields Myrick. After School, he proudly served his country in the US Navy during the Korean War and later in the US Air Force during Vietnam. He retired from McLean Trucking. Jimmy was passionate for Auburn and Alabama football. He only started liking Auburn when his son attended there and pulled for Auburn during the Iron Bowl. He was a loving father, brother, grandfather and friend and will be missed dearly. In addition to his parents, preceding him in death was a brother, Bobby Myrick.
He is survived by his son, Daryl Myrick; his brothers, Marlon Myrick and Gaines Myrick and his wife, Brenda and his grandchildren, Victoria, Katherine and Aubrey.
A service to celebrate Jimmy’s life will be held on Tuesday, November 30, at 2:00 p.m. from the graveside at Alabama National Cemetery in Montevallo, Al. Military Honors will be accorded by the US Navy Honor Guard.
