Joe Younts

Mr. Gary Joe Younts, 75, resident of Thomasville, died June 8, 2019 at Hinkle Hospice House in Lexington.

Mr. Younts was born January 17, 1944 in Davidson County, a son to Luther M. and Rachel Freeman Younts.  A resident of this area all his life, he was a graduate of Thomasville High School and president of Gary J. Younts Machine Company.  On May 2, 1961 he married the former Pat Boyd who survives of the residence.

Also surviving are four sons, Phillip “Phil” Younts and wife Linda, Jeff Younts and wife Donna, Gary Younts and Bobby Younts all of Thomasville; a brother, Roger Younts of Thomasville; and several grandchildren and great grandchildren.  He was preceded in death by four brothers and sisters.
