SOPHIA-Jonah Aiden Keaton, 12, went home to be with his Lord and Savior, Jesus Christ, on Monday, October 19, 2020.
He was born on July 25, 2008 in High Point, son of Daniel and April Keaton. Jonah was a student at New Market Elementary School, as long as his health permitted. He enjoyed fishing, collecting Pokeman cards, and playing video games; especially Fortnite and Call of Duty. His true love and passion was serving Jesus Christ and spending time with his family. He was a loving son, grandson and uncle and will be dearly missed. He was preceded in death by his paternal great grandfather, Fred Keaton and his paternal great grandmother, Rosie Bailey.
He leaves to cherish his memory; his parents, Daniel and April Keaton; his brothers, PFC Cameron Davidson and Tyler Stroh; his paternal grandparents, Ricky and Sheila Keaton; his maternal grandparents, Raymond and Georgia Roach; his paternal great grandmother, Glenna Keaton and his niece, Heather Stroh.
A service to celebrate Jonah’s life will be held on Saturday morning, October 24, at 11 o’clock, in the chapel of Cumby Family Funeral Service in Archdale, with Reverend Dr. Harold Thompson and Pastor Justin Miller officiating. The committal service will follow at Randolph Memorial Park. His family will receive friends Friday evening, October 23, from 6 until 8 o’clock, at the funeral home.
