Juanita Jenson (Wall) Cranford

Mrs. Juanita Jenson Wall Cranford, 87, formerly of Sophia, passed away Sunday, September 9, 2018, at her daughter’s home in Mt. Ulla.

Born July 1, 1931, in Randolph County, Juanita was the daughter of the late G.K. and Lula Davis Wall. A resident of this area all of her life, she was retired from Acme Samples. Juanita loved working in her garden and canning vegetables, and was famous for her pickled beets. In addition to her parents, she was also preceded in death by her husband, Carl Cranford, three brothers, and two sisters.

She is survived by her children, Danny Cranford, Randall Cranford and wife Louise and Rhonda Harrison and husband Bobby; and seven sisters, Hazel Kirby, Lynda Gordon, Brenda Fain, Jean Mabe, Ruth Stanley, Lea Cooper, and Faye Patton. Also surviving are 5 grandchildren, 4 great grandchildren and 1 great-great grandchild.

Graveside service will be 11:00 a.m. Wednesday at the Mt. Gilead United Methodist Church Cemetery, with Tim Folwell officiating.
